Reliable hot water is something most homeowners do not think about until it is gone. For this project in the Coeur d’Alene area, the existing water heater had reached the end of its service life and was no longer performing consistently. We safely shut down and drained the old unit, disconnected the water and gas connections, and removed the tank from the property. Once the area was cleared, we set a new 50 gallon Bradford White water heater in place. After reconnecting the hot and cold water lines and verifying proper gas connections and venting, we filled the tank and performed a full system test. This included checking for leaks under pressure, confirming proper burner operation, and ensuring the temperature and pressure relief valve was functioning correctly. Only after verifying everything was operating safely and efficiently did we complete the job.
